Privacy Policy

Tenant Move Out Checklist works without an account. Checklist task text and your selections stay in your browser tab. Optional analytics can record that a checklist action occurred, without receiving its contents or which task you selected.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send. We use it only to respond to your request and operate the service.

Technical information

Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security and reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Optional analytics and your choice

When optional analytics is enabled, we use free Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to the homepage, move-out cleaning guide, and rental inspection guide. We record only fixed page addresses and titles, an exact recognized referral hostname with a fixed platform and evidence category (so search engines, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and recognized social platforms stay distinguishable), and whether you toggle a checklist item, successfully copy the checklist, encounter a copy failure, or request printing. A printing request does not tell us whether you saved a PDF, and a clipboard copy does not tell us whether you created a Google Sheet.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Until then, or if you choose No thanks, we do not load Google Analytics or send analytics requests. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control by leaving analytics off. You can change your choice using Analytics privacy settings on this page when analytics is available. We store only your analytics preference in local browser storage. After consent, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies with browser identifiers and processes standard device and connection data under Google's privacy policy. Declining later stops measurement and removes this site's known Google Analytics cookies.

We do not send checklist contents, task IDs, selected role or property, clipboard contents, filenames, email addresses, account identities, complete query strings, or share parameters to analytics. Visits to the three listed pages can be counted even when the arrival link contains search, campaign, or share parameters; the address sent to analytics contains only the fixed site origin and page path, without query or fragment. We do not read or record arbitrary campaign parameters. Only a dedicated fixed internal test flag is checked, and those internal test events are separated from ordinary visits and actions. Recognized referrers are reduced to their safe hostname and origin, without their path, query or fragment. Missing, unfamiliar or invalid referrers remain unknown with the corresponding evidence category; they do not establish direct or AI traffic. An observed referral hostname does not prove that a platform recommended the site. We do not write marketing source cookies or use session replay. Analytics reports therefore cover only consenting visitors to the listed pages, and may undercount total usage.
